I passionately believe in integrity and open communication. I am repeatedly confronted with situations where employees have not been given direct feedback by their Managers although the latter are not happy with their performance. Those Managers are not comfortable talking to their staff about performance issues as they worry about potential confrontation. However this is actually very unproductive and unfair as people require and deserve open feedback to improve themselves and “grow”. Everybody has a skill set but not everybody is in the right job. Being open has helped me fit into new environments and make changes very quickly ; people are very respectful of honesty if delivered in a constructive manner. Integrity is one of the key values of Taaffe & Partners. We lose no opportunity to “live” this within our own team and that of our clients.
I am honoured that many talented people have decided to work together with me on many exciting projects over the last 25 years.
