How we operate

  • PEOPLE - We start off with an organisation SWOT analysis encompassing interviews with all of the people, a job profile fit analysis for each position followed by design of the "new" organisation, training recruitment and outplacement if needed.
  • PROCESS - Financial processes are scrutinized and tested. They are subsequently overhauled or redesigned to ensure their reliability as well as their alignment to the various business interfaces. This ensures the integrity of the numbers reported for the past and more importantly and much more challenging when the business needs to forecast for the future.
  • SYSTEMS - Critical to our business model is the swift implementation of Financial Systems. We must not wait for globally harmonised ERP systems to be implemented. This quite often takes up critical time which is unavailable , it cripples the organisation, it takes focus off the operating business and is tremendously expensive. Instead we leverage the existing system set-up and drive financial transparency and consistency by introducing central consolidation and reporting systems like Hyperion or MS Sharepoint placed “on-top” of the current ERP environment with a granular Group Chart of Accounts mapped to the ERP General Ledgers at all geographical locations. We can of course do this as part of a a global ERP implementation. This obviously costs much more money and time.

 Our approach is driven by pragmatism, open communication and speed of execution.
